Preventive Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on forklifts
• Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment and facilities
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Proficient in reading technical manuals
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of forklift troubleshooting and repairs
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors
